           It is situated on Karnataka Goa border,  in heart of evergreen forest. at a place called ‘Castle-rock’, which was famous as erstwhile custom checkpoint  prior to independence. Its a place which receives rainfall between 200 to 250 inches. Earlier times it was known as ‘Cherapunji’ of Karnataka as it used to receive second highest rainfall in the country.

           Castlerock is otherwise known for excessive rains and thick forest cover. It provides totally pollution free environment. Also requirement of fan is felt for two months of the year during April and May. Otherwise winter months are quite chilly and temperature drops to 6 to 7 degrees.

        As resort is situated on bank of flowing stream & surrounded by ever green forest, it will be pleasurable experience for the nature lovers and bird watchers as variety of birds such as hornbill, king fisher, whistling thrush, pigeon etc. along with giant red squirrel & langur will be present in and around Resort area. 

                We offer package of Rs1500/- per person per day, which is inclusive of veg Lunch & nonveg dinner  (authentic malvani fish or chicken thali). In addition, in case a guest requires special dish then same will be arranged at additional cost. Food will not be served in the rooms.
